Disney Oceans Movie

A tribute to earth by DisneyNature. An enliven trailer, showcasing the distinction of the world underwater. Disneys True Life Adventure released 1975 inspired DisneyNature to create another breath taking, no scripts, just the natural behavior of the animals of the ocean. When I first saw the Disney Oceans Movie trailer I wondered why Mickey Mouse and Bambi was featured. On the middle part of the trailer my eyes blew out of their teaser traile. It was breath taking. I never saw a jellyfish of that size. Swimming along with the shark is never a good idea. And oh, the birds catching their fish, it was like a battlefield out there! Pretty sure, Earth Day 2010 for DisneyNature Oceans is worth the wait!

Food Inc Film

In Food Inc Film, filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our nation's food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government's regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. Our nation's food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, insecticide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won't go bad, but we also have new strains of e coli--the harmful bacteria that causes illness for an estimated 73,000 Americans annually. We are riddled with widespread obesity, particularly among children, and an epidemic level of diabetes among adults.

Featuring interviews with such experts as Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation), Michael Pollan (The Omnivore's Dilemma) along with forward thinking social entrepreneurs like Stonyfield Farm's Gary Hirshberg and Polyface Farms' Joel Salatin, Food, Inc. reveals surprising -- and often shocking truths -- about what we eat, how it's produced, who we have become as a nation and where we are going from here.

Director: Robert Kenner
Genre: Documentary
Cast: Michael Pollan, Eric Schlosser
Tagline: You'll never look at dinner the same way

The Informers Movie Trailer

In such works as “Less Than Zero” and “American Psycho” Brett Easton Ellis brilliantly dissects contemporary American society, a culture in which too much is never enough. Now, adapting his own acclaimed novel for the screen, he returns to the Los Angeles of the early 1980’s with a multi-strand narrative that deftly balances a vast array of characters who represent both the top of the heap (a Hollywood dream merchant, a dissolute rock star, an aging newscaster) and the bottom (a voyeuristic doorman, an amoral ex-con). Connecting all his intertwining strands are the quintessential Ellis protagonists-a group of beautiful, blonde young men and women who sleep all day and party all night, doing drugs-and one another-with abandon, never realizing that they are dancing on the edge of a volcano. Filmed with uncommon glamour and grit by acclaimed Australian director Gregor Jordan (“Ned Kelly,” “Buffalo Soldiers”), “The Informers” is an alternately blistering and chilling portrait of hedonism run amuck.

Director: Gregor Jordan
Cast: Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Mickey Rourke, Winona Ryder
Genre: Crime, Drama, Thriller
Release Date: May 1, 2009
